Artificial intelligence (AI) has been revolutionizing industries all over the world, its one of the most talked about discussions in the industry. Designers can use AI to automate repetitive tasks, improve the accuracy of their work, and even generate new designs. Its a great tool to use for creating content as well, In this blog post,I will explore how designers like myself can use AI during their design process.

Automated Layouts

Designers can create automated layouts that adjust themselves based on the content. Ai can use certain features such as creating automated layouts, for websites, blogs, and social media posts. This saves designers time and effort and allows us to focus on more creative aspects of their work.

Color Matching

AI can help designers choose the right color palette by analyzing the colors in an image and suggesting complementary colors. AI can also help designers experiment with color combinations that they may not have considered otherwise, allowing them to create more unique and engaging designs. One of my favorite tools is the new Adobe Color Beta feature that allows creatives to try different variations. It gives designers a way to explore and have fun creating work with different approaches.

Image Editing

AI-powered image editing tools can take care of repetitive tasks like removing backgrounds, resizing images, and adjusting lighting. Designers can also edit images more accurately and efficiently, without the need for manual adjustments. It also makes it easier for designers to focus on less admit tasks and present their work in a more efficient way to their clients producing high-quality work.

Design Generation

AI can even generate new designs from logos, brands, brand names etc. This is particularly useful for tasks like logo design, where designers can input the name of the company and the AI will generate a logo based on that input. Personally, I wouldn't recommend copying designs, however, it’s a great way to show what variations of what work could potentially look like or as a way of inspiration.

Conclusion

Overall ai can be a revolutionary source for designers, everyone has their own personal opinions about it. Others may feel that ai is taking over and that it will eventually take the jobs of creatives but if we take advantage of these tools to help our every day to day task it will save us time to focus more on what we like to do.
